Viaplay Group emerged when its shareholders approved the rebrand from Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) on 18 May 2022. Viaplay Group began operation as a separate organisation from 1 July 2018, after the split from Modern Times Group MTG AB (publ). Headquartered in Stockholm, Viaplay Group was listed on Nasdaq Stockholm on March 28, 2019 (‘VPLAY A’ and ‘VPLAY B’).

Viaplay is a proven Nordic success story and we are now expanding internationally, becoming the international entertainment provider.
